Call Volunteers for Sandya Institute

 
Minorities in Indonesia continue to face persecution! Help us fight injustice!

We are calling for :
  1. Research Volunteers : Assisting our research on countering violent extremism and human rights advocacy as well as providing academic writings and/or policy recommendations.
  2. Project Volunteers : Assisting the implementation of our projects: organizing conferences/seminars/trainings/workshops.
  3. Communications Volunteers : Assisting our campaign efforts on raising the awareness of the importance of peace and human rights values offline & on social media.
  4. Teaching Volunteers : Providing support to Asylum Seekers and Refugees in Indonesia with Bahasa Indonesia, English, German skills and/or providing support with basic legal knowledge and/or other soft skills.

How to apply :  
  1. Submit your Curriculum Vitae before 1 February 2018 13.00 to pr@sandya-intitute.org
  2. Interview on 2-3 February 2018
  3. Selected volunteers will be announced on 3 February 2018
  4. Selected volunteers will receive intensive training on 4 February 2018
  5. Starting date and duration of volunteering program will depend on the interview result, we expect the volunteers to be able to work for a minimum duration of three months.
Eligibility :
We are seeking individuals who have strong commitment in promoting peace and human rights values as well as advocating the rights of minority groups. We welcome all individuals with diverse background of age, nationality, religion, ethnicity, race, gender and sexuality. All volunteers are expected to reside in Jakarta Greater Area.
